Lili Tao: Shaping Asia with mega project management skills

June 27, 2019

To many, construction sites may look messy and dirty, but to civil engineer Lili Tao, they are very exciting and full of potential. A big hole in the ground can become a tunnel for trains. A piece of reclaimed land can become a runway for planes. Today she manages mega infrastructure projects for Aurecon. Lili has always been very inquisitive – always wanting to know how things work. For example, what is the purpose of that particular light on the runway? How do you get the cranes down from super tall buildings after construction is completed? When she finds the answers, she often likes to educate her family and friends, whether they like it or not! Her project management skills also come in handy in her family life.
