December 4, 2019

Revitalisation and reconnection of central Newcastle The revitalisation of the city centre is an important project for Newcastle’s future development. The re-use of disused rail land for a mixed-use precinct aims to strengthen connections between the city and the waterfront, create job opportunities, provide more public places and better transport solutions. The interviews used local people in settings of daily life and brought a tangibility and immediacy to the community audience. Client: Urban Growth Architect: Hassell
