Aurecon Defence 3 The diversity and global nature of the Defence sector means the full impact of the world's recent financial crisis is only now starting to be felt. Globally, government spending on Defence is expected to slow over the next few years as countries pursue budget efficiency programmes in the wake of the financial crisis. This creates challenges for governments, national Defence agencies, as well as sector prime contractors and suppliers as they seek to balance capability requirements with constrained funding opportunities and pursue improved value for money. With 50 years of experience in delivering technical, advisory and support services to Defence client agencies and industry, Aurecon has an impressive track record in planning, managing and delivering complex Defence projects around the globe, from inception, through to design and on to delivery. Offering multidisciplinary capabilities and deep sector knowledge across key areas of Defence, we have worked on some of the largest and most complex Defence projects in the world. Aurecon is a preferred supplier and member of a diverse range of panels and supplier arrangements with a large number of Defence agencies and companies throughout the world. We do not compromise on Health & Safety. It comes first in everything we do and is a core value for Aurecon. We foster this by appointing experienced teams who combine a deep understanding of the management of workplace Health & Safety with that of our clients. The flexibility and multidisciplinary skills of our people enables us to integrate and align our teams with our clients to deliver best practice project outcomes across safety, risk, quality, budget and schedule. We take responsibility for the outcomes of the projects on which we work, whether it is as part of the client team, or in managing or leading integrated project teams across the full scope of Defence projects.
